Overview
Contributed to the foundational cloud service layer powering Iran's government digital infrastructure — providing ministries with shared API management, service discovery, and monitoring across geographically distributed data centers.
Role Summary
Senior engineer on the national government cloud platform delivering centralized API gateway, mutual TLS service mesh, service registry, and observability infrastructure across multi-zone deployments in Tehran and Mashhad.
Responsibilities
- Designed and operated centralized API gateway for government-wide service routing
- Implemented mutual TLS service mesh between ministry backend clusters
- Built service registry with health checks and automatic failover routing
- Deployed Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK observability across all government cloud zones
- Established CI/CD pipelines for compliant government software releases
Key Achievements
- Unified observability across previously siloed ministry infrastructure teams
- Cut mean time to detection for production incidents from hours to minutes
